When I heard that Woolworths is having their annual Beauty Festival at the moment, I rushed out to go have a look at what’s on offer. Buy 2 products, get 20% off. ANY TWO PRODUCTS?! Yes indeedy. Any two products from any brand at Woolworths. And they stock some goodies you guys. Stila, Smashbox, Clarins, Dr Hauschka, fantastic fragrances, their own line and one of my favourites, Revlon. Even though I browsed all the counters, it was the Revlon one that received all my attention that day and here’s what I bought:

WW Beauty Festival

Revlon Skinlights in Barelight: I have heard about this product A LOT. Many of the beauty bloggers have been buzzing about it and I knew I wanted to get my hands on this liquid highlighter. I’ve only used it twice (but then again I’ve only had it for two days) and so far I’m loving it. It’s really sheer and light but with enough of a pearlescent shine to make you glow. It’s not glittery at all but has a tiny little bit of fine shimmer which really just makes my cheekbones pop when I glide it on.

Revlon nail polish

Colorstay nail enamel in Velvet Rope: As we’re heading into the colder months I swap from bright pinks, corals and oranges to deeper, darker colours. This is a gorgeous wine red and the Revlon nail products are all really fantastic and incredibly good value for money. This one will be worn a whole heck of a lot this winter.

Photoready foundation in Shell: This is probably my all-time favourite foundation. I’ve re-purchased it more times than I can remember and keep coming back to it, especially in winter when this shade suits my skin just perfectly. I also tend to have clearer, better skin during winter so I don’t need such intense coverage so this light, yet buildable formula just works beautifully.

Revlon Haul

Colorburst Lip Butter: I am a big fan of the lip butters and have been using the Creme Brulee one quite often (it’s gorgeous when layered over the Revlon Colorburst Matte balm in Elusive) and decided to get a beautiful bright red. I eventually chose Candy Apple because it’s just too beautiful. I mean look at it! Such a lovely colour. Can’t wait to start wearing it.

{The Woolworths Beauty Festival is on till 4 May and really is a must for all beauty lovers.}
