The Body Shop is currently running their Winter sale and well, let’s just say I went a bit crazy. What is it about that word? SALE. It’s almost like my brain goes “Ok well that’s good. All of this stuff is for free!” Except then I get to the till and my poor bank card gets abused. Badly. Sigh. Such is the life of a serial spender.

Anyway, so I went to The Body Shop and decided to stock up on some ol’ favourites that I use all the time but also bought a few new goodies that I’ve never tried before. The sale is on until the 10th of August (up to 50% off) and I would advise you to go have a look. You don’t have to go quite as overboard as I did but there are so many great products at The Body Shop and I even stocked up on a few gift options for friends and family because who doesn’t like receiving goodies from The Body Shop? No-one. That’s who.

Tea tree cool & creamy cleanser and Warming mineral mask

Tea Tree Cool & Creamy face wash – I heard Essiebutton talk about this and knew I would love it. I’ve always loved tea tree products and as I am currently sporting a delightful collection of blemishes on my chin, I thought it would work wonders. I’ve used this twice since buying it and I love it. I think it will be a great product in summer because it really does leave your face feeling lovely and cool and clean without making it feel stripped and tight.

Warming Mineral mask- I’ve been looking for a nice self-warming mask for a while and when I spotted this I picked it up immediately. Firstly, shout-out to The Body Shop for having testers for every.single.product. Seriously, I love that about them. Back to this product though, It’s a deep cleansing kaolin clay mask but what I love about it is that it doesn’t go hard and tight like a normal clay mask. It stays quite creamy which leaves your skin feeling thoroughly cleansed and moisturised at the same time.

Shea Body Butter

Shea body scrub- This is probably my favourite scrub from The Body Shop. The granules are rough enough to slough away dry, dead skin but they don’t scratch the skin in any way and the shea really leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth.

Honeymania bubble bath melt

Honeymania Bubble bath melt- I picked this up thinking it was a body butter for some reason but then I smelled it and I knew it would be coming home with me. Good grief. This stuff, you guys. It smells so insanely good. A little like honey and a lot like “oh-my-word-that’s-good”!

Vitamin E Serum-in-oil
Vitamin E Serum-in-oil- This stuff has been talked about by every beauty blogger and their mothers but there’s good reason for it. I’ve been using it for the past few days and let me just tell you, it’s good. Read the full review here.

Honey Bronzer

Honeybronzer– Another Essiebutton inspired buy. She’s been raving about this bronzer forever and I thought I’d give it a try. I got it in the shade “1” because I really have a phobia for orange/too dark bronzers. This one has been lovely so far. Not orange at all, nice and matte and really easy to blend.

Spa Wisdom honey and beeswax hand & foot butter– I wanted to pick up the hemp hand protector but they were out of stock so I asked the sales lady and she said this one is right behind the hemp one in terms of moisturising and leaving your hands feeling soft and silky. I have been struggling with seriously dry hands lately (damn you winter) so I have high hopes for this one.

Colour Crush lipsticks

Colourcrush lipsticks– Again, one of those much hyped products so I was excited to pick up a few. I got “14” and “18” and I’ve worn both since buying them. Love! I think they would be especially great in summer when you are looking for a pop of colour but nothing too heavy. They are sheer, lightweight and quite balmy in texture.

I also picked up another bottle of the Camomile oil cleanser and another bottle of tea tree oil. Both regulars in my beauty routine and ones I’ve written about before.

Have you been to The Body Shop’s sale? If you have, what did you buy and is there anything you think I should be trying out?

I just did a shop like this only a couple of days ago! The Body Shop is one of my favourite places for make-up and skincare, it’s just an essential beauty shopping destination. Whenever I go there I admit I always pick up the camomile cleansing oil, for me or for a friend, it’s such a genius product. And the honey bronzer is spectacular, not to mention the Vitamin-e range. This is a great post, thanks for sharing! Amazing blog btw x
