Mini Review: Revlon Bronzilla

I feel like I am always on the hunt for the perfect bronzer. My skin does this weird thing where it turns all bronzers super orange when I apply it and it drives me absolutely crazy (I think it’s got something to do with me not really having a ‘tone’, I’m neither cool nor warm toned, or so I believe.) It also means that I am super, duper picky when it comes to which bronzers I use on my skin.

Mini Review: Revlon Bronzilla

When I was browsing through Dischem (drugstore-galore) the other day, I saw that Revlon had re-named their bronzer previously known as “Your bronze” to “Bronzilla”. First of all, LOVE that name. Second of all, LOVE the product. It’s a really lovely soft bronzer. By “soft” I mean, not harsh and Jersey-shore-ish. I actually think it’s a pretty good dupe for Benefit’s Hoola which I haven’t used for ages so I can’t be sure but it definitely reminds me of it. This bronzer applies like a dream (it’s super buttery), blends incredibly easy and works so well to add a bit life back to my skin. It’s matte without being dull and is pretty much just a really great bronzer. Definitely one to consider if you’re looking for a new bronzer.

Sorry for the stupid question…….would you apply this bronzer to just your cheek bones under your blush? or over your entire face after foundation?

Not a stupid question at all! It really depends on what you’re going for. I usually apply it under my cheekbones for a little contouring and then on my temples to bring a bit of colour back to my face. You can however apply it lightly all over if you’re very pale and want a bit of a tanned appearance. 🙂
