So here we are, it’s favourites time again. People, we are in August. AUGUST!! The month of love for me because I met, started dating and eventually married my beloved C all in August so I adore August. But before I get too excited about August, it’s time for my July favourites. I had quite a few new finds this month that I’ve fallen deeply in love with so let’s get started.

Moroccan oil light

Moroccan oil light – I got this little sample from Everything Hair when I ordered my favourite treatment and I was SO excited to try it. I have of course heard so much about the famed Moroccan Oil but I just never tried it. I’ve been using this little sample all month and I haven’t even used up 1/4 of it. I use the tiniest little amount on wet hair before styling it and on my hair once styled to smooth everything over and have fallen in love with it. It leaves my hair feeling silky smooth and so soft without any oiliness. Will definitely be purchasing the full size once this is done.

Clarins Instant Light lip perfector

Clarins Instant light lip perfector in 01 Rose Shimmer – I have loved these glosses for a long time but this is the first time I’ve used this specific colour. I was scared it would be very bubblegum pink but I was very wrong. This is the prettiest light shade of pink and I’ve been wearing it all month over a nude pink lip liner for the prettiest “mine-but-better” lip shade. It smells delicious and I love that it doesn’t feel sticky or tacky but lasts quite a long time.

The Body Shop Mineral Heating mask

The Body Shop Mineral Heating mask – I picked up this mask when I went to the annual Body Shop sale and what a treat it’s been. I love the way it heats when applied and that it doesn’t dry out like other clay masks. It definitely deep cleans though and leaves my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed yet very glowy and radiant. This is unlike any other clay mask I’ve tried and definitely one to have in your collection.

Revlon liquid eye pen

Revlon Colorstay liquid eye pen – I spoke about this in the mini-review I did about it so I won’t yap on too much about it now. All you need to know that this is a cat eye in a pen. So easy to use and long lasting. What more do you need?

L'oreal Miss Manga mascara

L’oreal Miss Manga mascara – I was very sceptical about this mascara. I didn’t like the idea of the super wiggly wand and in general, I don’t like following the hype (I’m a bit stubborn that way). But I eventually caved and hate to admit it but this stuff is the bomb. I have fallen in love with the way it lengthens, thickens and separates my lashes and a little tip: this stuff makes any other mascara so much better. I often use it as a first coat before one of my other more ‘meh’ mascaras and the results are incredible. A friend even asked me recently if I’m wearing falsies after applying a coat of this followed by Maybelline’s The Falsies. Love!

Clarins Blue Orchid Face oil

Clarins Blue Orchid face treatment oil – Using this oil on my skin during Winter has saved me from the flakey, dry patches I usually suffer during the cold season. This oil smells expensive and delicious, feels like a dream when you apply it and makes my skin look happy and plump. Definitely worth the splurge. I’ve used it for the last 2 months and haven’t even made a dent.

Sigma blush in Candy Apple

Sigma blush in Candy Apple – I had a bit of fun on Turquoise Studio’s website a while ago and splurged on a few Sigma items. I bought this blush because I loved the packaging (silly me) and was nervous that the blush wasn’t going to be good but I my fears were unnecessary. This blush is so pretty and feels so creamy when you apply it. It’s a great colour which perks up my complexion and definitely a great one to keep around for Summer.

Sigma Eyebrow powder in Dark

Sigma Eyebrow powder in Dark – I also bought this little gem because previously I had just been using a normal dark eye shadow. This stuff is amazing. You need the tiniest tiny amount as it is ridiculously pigmented, it applies so easily and lasts all day. I also love that it comes with two shades so you can mix them to create your perfect colour.

The Body Shop Vitamin C energising face spritz

The Body Shop Vitamin C energising face spritz – I bought this back in April already and have just really started using it throughout Winter and especially this last month. It is the perfect mid-day pick-me-up. It refreshes my skin, wakes me up and leaves my skin feeling dewy and hydrated. Such a staple in my daily routine now.

Sigma blending brush

Sigma E40 blending brush – I was looking for a nice fluffy brush to use for blending my eyeshadows together and thought this one would be good. I was right. It’s fantastic. I love it so much, I’ve even started using it as a concealer blending brush. Definitely going to be buying a few more of these. Read more about it in my make-up brush essentials post.

What have been some of your favourites this month?
